We offer one to one lessons meaning you will be sailing off into the sunset in no time. Experienced? We offer dinghy hire too.

This sport is a combination of windfoiling, kitefoiling and surfing. The Foil Wing is taking foiling in a new direction where the only boundaries are your own imagination.

We offer some great packages for schools, stags & hens, families or friends. Create your own activity experience in a private group with your own instructors.

As well as experiencing new water sports activities, these types of trips are a perfect way for teachers to allow pupils to celebrate the end of primary school, or as a way to get new groups bonding when starting secondary school. Children will learn a variety of practical new technical skills, while developing their own personal and social skills, and forging friendships.

Mersea Island Watersports have been providing high quality hires and lessons from our dedicated watersports centre on Mersea Island since 2013.

The waterfront centre, which is based on the western side of Mersea, is the perfect place from which to explore the creeks and small islands of this unique coastline and our sheltered position makes it the ideal place to learn watersports whilst the nearby estuary provides open water excitement for windsurfers, sailors and wing foiling.

We offer Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Kayaking, Windsurfing, Sailing and new for 2021, Wing Foiling.

We are accredited by AALA, a RED Test Centre and BSUPA centre.

Providing rentals, tuition, kids clubs, youth sessions, school curriculum tie-ins, parties & events, as well as social sessions – you’d be hard not to find something that suits you!
