Cancellation of sessions during 6 week blocked booked courses. E.g Kids evenings during term time. Once a 6 week course is booked MIW will run 6 sessions. Health & Safety

Any person having tuition must be medically fit to participate in their chosen water sport and be confident and comfortable in the water.  If you have any medical condition or take a medication that affects the activity you must inform us and your instructor before starting any course.

Any child under 11 years must have a parent/guardian on site at all times.  For children over 11 years parents can leave the site whilst their child is under instruction but must leave a contact telephone number and collect as the lesson finishes.

Whilst on a MIW course you must observe the instructors safety guidance for your safety and the safety of others.

There is an element of risk with any water sport, and the instructor is there for your safety, so their instructions must be followed to avoid exposure to any unnecessary risks.  Please ensure you declare any medical issues/medication, you are aware that your fitness is suitable for the sport you wish to try, and must not participate in any lesson under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Risk assessments have been carried out on all locations that our courses take place. Your instructor will make you aware of these and will be happy to discuss any concerns should you have any.
